I had one of my eyes get infected and started bothering me on a Thursday. By Friday it hurt so bad I had a headache and it was swollen and red. I called them on a Friday, and they had me come in almost immediately and saw me. Dr. Chevana got me started on a Z-pack and antibiotic eye ointment, he numbed my eye for me, cleaned it out, and I was on my way to healing up. Great staff, very friendly, and saved my weekend! I have been going to him for years and will continue to do so!

Our entire family have been patients of Dr. Chavana for several years and we wouldn't trust our eye care needs to anyone else. He is always so friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable and thorough. Unlike most Drs., he doesn't rush you through your exam, take your money and send you out the door as fast as possible. He takes the time to talk to you about how your eyesight is doing as well as if you have any new or chronic health issues/problems. He also asks what new or ongoing prescription and OTC medications you're taking and then he explains which of these may be affecting your eyes and/or your eyesight and suggests what you can do to help alleviate any problems or issues you're experiencing with your eyes and/or your eyesight. He always makes sure you understand all your eye exam results, all the information and answers to your questions he has provided to you and makes sure he has answered all your questions and concerns before he leaves and goes to his next patient. However, if any questions or problems come up after your exam and you want/need to talk to Dr. Chavana directly, he always makes time for his patients. If he's with a patient when you call, you can rest assured that he will return your call as soon as possible. The 5 stars I'm giving is purely for Dr. Chavana. The only issues I have with Today's Vision are related to the customer service side where you choose eyeglass frames, lenses, etc., are fitted for these, your insurance benefits are explained to you and the sales associate tells you what your out of pocket portion is. I heard there had been issues with a sales associate overcharging customers last year so I made sure to call Eyemed, get a copy of my insurance benefits and have Eyemed explain how the insurance paid. After my exam, I sat down with a sales associate to order my new progressive eyeglass lenses, etc. The sales associate was not familiar with my insurance benefits, got up several times to go seek out answers and when he told me what my insurance benefits were and what I owed, I knew he was wrong because I had already spoken to Eyemed. I tried to explain to him several times that he misunderstood how my insurance plan worked and that he was overcharging me by over $300! He was rude. He never offered to try and call Eyemed while I was there to confirm my benefits and insisted I pay 1/2 of the outrageous amount he said I owed before he would order my glasses! I would have just walked out, but I needed my eyeglasses and I knew I could prove he was wrong and get refunded. So, I contacted Eyemed and while they kept me on hold, they called and spoke to this sales associate and basically reiterated what I had told him several times about my insurance benefits and what my out of pocket cost would be. Once the Eyemed benefit's person came back to me, she told me that he understood his mistake and would be contacting me about my refund. I waited 2 days and he never contacted me so I finally called Today's Vision and was told I could come in at my convenience to get my refund. The sales associate that had worked on my order seemed to be avoiding me now. I never got to speak to him or get an apology from him. I wasn't as upset at being overcharged as I was about how rude and obstinate he was towards me.

I stopped by Today's Vision for contact lenses and had simply the best experience compared to other previously visited establishments. You may see reviews that state the contrary, but all I can say is that I was provided stellar welcoming service and had every one of my questions answered. I stopped by for contact lenses which I had last purchased when I was 14. I was never able to put them on but 16 years later I wanted to give them another shot. Lawrence assisted me by finding exactly what I needed and discussed everything I needed to know. Dr Chavana was very nice and welcoming and accepted my walk in very quickly despite the fact that I did not have an appointment. Within about an hour their staff had everything ready and taught me how to put them on before I left the building. I now can say I defeated my younger self and Today's Visions staff were very happy that they were able to help. I will not say that the other reviews should be entirely disregarded as we each have an opportunity to voice our opinions. But my hope is that with this review, you can provide the wonderful staff from Today's Vision the opportunity to assist you and experience exactly what I did. A++++
